Our client is part of a College Group and has recently launched their own supply bank of teaching staff, they are now extending this to support roles.

Their aim is to provide short-term quality cover for the Group. The Group has a range of support areas which support the business; Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Student Services, Quality, Training, Data Services, Marketing.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Placement Co-ordinator to join them in a job share to provide high quality, emergency staff cover through a customer focussed supply staff agency. The post will be working 15 hours to cover 6.30am – 9.30am - Monday to Friday, term time only. This role will cover the morning shift to compliment the afternoon shift 5.00pm till 8.00pm.

Receiving calls from College Group managers regarding staffing requests, you will use the database provided to locate suitably skilled, qualified and available staff for cover work and relay the arrangements to the appropriate manager.

Ensuring a customer focused service at all times, you will update the database with information regarding the bookings you have made, making sure all Agency and HR staff are fully aware of the availability of the cover candidates.

The successful candidates for this role will have experience of working independently and managing multiple concurrent requests for assistance, and be able to effectively manage an administrative workload within a customer service centred environment, such as that obtained from a call centre, reception, switchboard or recruitment agency. 

Excellent communication, administrative and organisation skills are essential skills for this role, as is the ability to build effective working relationships with a designated client group and / or customers.
