The Customer Service Executive Role:
The main responsibilities of the Customer Service Executive are:
- Acting as the first point of contact for incoming customer telephone calls
- Dealing with customer orders and enquiries
- Acting as the interface between remote sales teams and production
- Working with remote sales teams to generate and follow up quotations
- Maintaining the customer relationship management system (CRM)
- Working through the production plan and keeping customers informed
- Dealing with complaints when they arise
- Supporting sales managers with various marketing resources
- First class telephone manner is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a good sense of humour
- Good attention to detail in both numeracy and literacy
- Capable of taking ownership of work and projects
- Able to prioritise workloads and delegate where applicable
- Experience of a similar customer services role
- Ability to work closely with a sales team to deliver customer service
- Good IT skills are highly beneficial including MS Excel and CRM systems
