Business Development Manager

Taxwise Rewards - Manchester

The salary is £30,000 basic. Realistic OTE of £100k with high achievers earning well in excess

The role is for a Business Development Manager, who is responsible for developing relationship with Accountants who are current partners for Taxwise rewards. Your role will be establish strong relationships with all Taxwise partners within a geographical area, and leverage the relationship and client base in order to sell Peninsula services. The successful candidate will also look to establish new introducer/referral partnerships into their area to generate additional sales opportunities. You will work closely with an internal Telemarketing Consultant who will support with booking appointments with both Accountants and sales opportunities created through Taxwise Partners.

Duties will include:

  • Generate and attend meetings with potential introducers and referral partners
  • Establish and build relationships with Taxwise Reward Accountancy Partners to ensure that they understand the Peninsula Service
  • Attend sales meetings generated through your network
  • Generate, promote and attend co-hosted Seminars with Accountants
  • Follow up on leads from Seminars and book sales appointments with prospective clients
  • Create a referral network through the accountancy practices in your own territory
  • Work closely with your Taxwise fee protection BDM to assist with reciprocal referrals and joint new business opportunities.
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Accurately build, manage and maintain your sales pipeline

Skills and experience required:

  • 2 years plus track record of selling in a B2B environment (Industry experience NOT required).
  • Confidence in value based/consultative selling.
  • Ability to sell to different audiences including Business Owners, Board of Directors and HR Managers.
  • Track record in working with Brokers and Intermediaries would be advantageous
