An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Second Chef to join a unique and traditional cosy Pub. Based in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula surrounded by a stunning coastline and river estuaries, the successful Sous Chef will earn a salary of £17,000 to £19,500, depending on experience.

The pub is a traditional pub inside and out with the interior being filled with settles and bric a brac with open beams and original flagstone floor. It prides itself on its high reputation as a result of delivering a warm, efficient and friendly service where going the extra mile is never too much trouble. As a Second Chef your core responsibilities and duties will include, but will not be limited to: 
  • Food planning
  • Preparation
  • Cooking
  • Working closely with the team ensuring a smooth and efficient service
  • Ensuring the kitchen is fully compliant with legal requirements
This is a great opportunity for someone with a friendly and professional personality. To be considered for the Second Chef position you will have previous experience in a similar role. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and qualities:
