The Web Designer & Developer Role:

As Web Designer and Developer at you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining all our web based entities and social media presences and contributing enhancements within our web based CRM & ERP platform. You will be responsible for furthering the effectiveness of our social media presence and SEO of our web entities, continually maximizing the effective reach to our audience. You will be working directly with our IT, Design, PR and Marketing teams and Directors within the role.

Web Designer & Developer Duties and responsibilities:

> Continually develop all our web entities in all capacities, including design of the whole site visually, logically and in code.
> Continually improve the effectiveness of our SEO & Web presence helping reach as many as our target audience as possible.
> Continually improve the effectiveness our Social Media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & YouTube maximizing our reach.
> Working with our IT team on development projects.
> Updating content on all web entities / presences, on occasion this may extend out of office hours.
> Design, produce & distribute high quality marketing Mail-outs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Essential:

> Have a minimum of 3 years commercial web development experience including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, SQL, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics & SEO.

Proficiency in:

> HTML, CSS, PHP, .Net, JavaScript, JSON, MySQL & SQL
> Experience with MVC, JSON, JQuery and REST APIs
> SEO, including full and effective utilization of social networking and multimedia sites.
> Adobe Creative Suite
> Designing secure systems, e.g. familiar with building solutions hardened for SQL injection and XSS vulnerability etc
> Implementing & maintaining CMSs.
> Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
> Knowledge of building responsive layouts
> Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility

Desirable:

> Experience in mobile device development, this can include Cordova and PhoneGap.
> Server management experience including Apache, IIS and SQL/MySQL.
> SharePoint knowledge
