The Role:

- Randstad Education requires a Teaching Assistant for a Secondary School in Bolton.
- Experience of working with students who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL) is preferable due to the diverse ethnicity of the student cohort.
- The role will consist of providing in class support to identified pupils and large groups.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- You must have experience of working with students both in class and with 1-to-1 support (a minimum of 3 months exposure to children aged between 11-16 years old in an educational setting).
- You must have experience of working with students with English as an additional language.
- Being able to recognise people's strengths, aspirations and abilities and help to develop their potential.
- Excellent knowledge of child protection issues and how to report any issues with regards to safeguarding through the appropriate channels.
