Process Technician required to work for a world leading global chemical processing and manufacturing company.
The role
As a Process Technician you will have strong knowledge of site / plant policies and procedures and possess a demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety legislations. You will monitor and maintain the processes of the plant adjusting where required and operate the plant with minimal supervision. Your will also:
• Demonstrate and understand importance of stock control and storage conditions
• maintain plant machinery as trained - recognise and take action on any faults or repair work
• Maintain the cleanliness of the plant, working area and equipment
• Record accurate documentation both on paper and on in house systems, i.e. production schedules, packaging labelling and waste disposal documentation
What you’ll need
You will be a strong team player with good communication skills and a proactive and positive approach to change. You will manage your work load methodically and understand the importance of prioritising certain tasks. The following attributes are essential:
• GCSE qualified in Maths and English
• Problem solving and process operation skills
• Computer literate
