Temporary Customer Services Advisor – FTC 6 Months
Cardiff

Reporting to:

  • Customer Services Team Leader

Objective:

Accurately manage the receipt, processing and oversee delivery of orders from all UK and non-UK customers. Able to ensure the department will function seamlessly in the absence of the Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, correctly interpret and accurately process orders by telephone, fax and email.
  • Liaise with the warehouse, finance and other departments to facilitate a high quality customer service.
  • Report and act on customer service complaints, goods returned. and raise appropriate credit notes
  • Organise product samples and literature to be sent to customers who request it and follow up by telephone.
  • Assist in preparing Customer service protocols and system development.
  • Service the standing order customers in line with the current pricing structure.
  • Up-sell both existing and new products and services to existing UK customers.
  • If required follow up mail-shots and customer requests, by telephone to convert prospects into sales.
  • Prepare pro-forma invoices for UK and Export in the required currency.
  • Any other duties as and when required.

Measure of Performance

  • Accurately process and oversee delivery of all orders and sample requests from UK and non UK customers.
  • Accuracy of documents prepared such as pro-forma invoices and credit notes.
  • Ability to seamlessly manage the Customer Service department in the absence of Team Leader.
  • Retention of and up-selling to standing order customers in line with new pricing policy.

Package

  • £16,233 per annum
  • 23 days holiday
  • £750 annual bonus, pro rota
  • Pension, after three months service

Working Hours

  • 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, including an unpaid 30 minute lunch break.
