Summary

Senior software Tester with full system development life cycle experience including designing, developing and implementing test plans, test cases and test processes fuelling swift corrective actions, significant cost savings and fault-free audits. An Analytical and solutions-oriented Information Systems Professional with more than 12 years of experience and expertise in working with people, systems & technology along systems life cycle for efficient service delivery. Exposure to developing and executing test strategies to deliver quality at every stage of a project coupled with hands-on approach. Having first class executive leadership, negotiating and communicating skills, demonstrated a proficiency in leading and mentoring individuals to maximize levels of productivity, while forming cohesive team environments. Easily adaptable to rapidly changing environments and resolving critical issues to ensure bottom line success.

Principle Duties & Accountability

 Develop an established, but immature approach to testing.

 Build strong relationships with the analysis, development and user communities

 Document and agree approach to testing on a project by project basis

 Define, prepare, review test plans, test cases and execute tests

 Full understanding of the high level business requirements and should be able to work with Business Analyst in understanding Use Cases from client.

 Define Test Strategy/Approach including business requirements traceability and definition of the key project test outcomes, success criteria, and timelines.

 Prepare test report and participate in sign-off activity

 Provide timely and accurate status reports covering project activity owned by you.

 Communicate effectively and participate fully as a key member of the IT & Change Team

 A good understanding of the software development process and AGILE process.

 Environments planning and management to ensure availability to meet Project/ Program timelines.

 Manage the day-to- day testing aspects of multiple or large-scale projects. 

 Ensure that all quality assurance activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.

 Keep up to date with Testing methodologies and practices and introduce improvements where appropriate

 Test and approve the correction of Live Bugs as part of the BAU process

 Identify/managing the risks at earlier stage and plan for the mitigation

 Excellent written and communication skills

Essential Skills:

 Strong Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage the UAT process by creating test scenarios and test plans with users. Manage the issues log

 Exceptional stakeholder management experience and capable of developing strong trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

 Solid knowledge implementing Best Practice and Test Strategy 

 Strong experience of leading a successful Programme as a Head of Test and further phases

 Strong Healthcare and Background in financial services – banking or insurance

 Strong work experience in DWBI/Migration/Backend testing and preferably worked on SAP HANA

 Experience of using Selenium for aspects of test automation and must have managed testing projects using HP ALM as the repository for all testing artifacts (Requirements, Scripts, Results and defects)

 At least three years of experience in setting up TCoE (Testing Centre of Excellence) and managing the TCoE

 Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies associated with software testing

 Demonstrable leadership skills and ownership of all aspects relating to testing

 Must have worked in an environment where 3rd Party suppliers are responsible for application provision

 Formal and informal reporting using various tools and statistics

 Management of assigned resources to successfully deliver testing of solutions to time, cost and quality

 Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills (face-to- face, via telephone/email and in producing written artifacts and documents)

 Experience in off-shore Team management

 Strong Experience in managing the Functional, Integration testing, UAT

 Strong Experience in Manual Testing on Healthcare Domainin Revenue Cycle management

 Excellent Exposure to Manual Testing around Telecom Domain.

Qualification

 Master Degree in Computers

 Certified ISTQB Professional.
