Technology Manager/Network Engineer/IT Graduate
(North & West Yorkshire)
Up to £24,000 (dependant on experience) + phone allowance

As the company continues to expand, this is an excellent opportunity to assist with the growing number of projects in develop the business and take it to the next stage of its development.
Inspire Audio Visual Ltd are well-established designer and installer of home technology systems predominantly into the high end residential market place. Their client base also includes developers of luxury properties both in the North of England and London.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role reports directly to the Directors and owners of the business and is part of a team who are responsible for maintaining and developing the internal IT infrastructure as well as the specifying, testing and configuring of networks and control systems on client sites.
External responsibilities:
o Network installation and testing
o Control4 programming
o Patch panel building, cable termination
o Liaising with clients, providing advice
o Fault finding & network monitoring
Internal responsibilities
o Maintaining office network infrastructure
o Configuring and maintaining Linux & Windows and workstations
o Scheduling nightly backups
o Leading regular security audits
o Programming control systems
o Remote access fault finding
o Supporting clients with day-to-day issues
o Delegating any of above responsibilities to other roles
o Receiving escalated support issues from team

REQUIREMENTS
• Experienced in configuring networks (inc. routers, switches, access points, setting up VPN’s)
• Knowledge of Internet Protocols
• Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall/VPN technologies and Network Security skills
• Network Monitoring Tools
• Intelligent individual with good decision making skills
• Must have a clean driving license as the work requires daily travel to customer sites (own vehicle – mileage paid and use of company vehicle)
• Educated to A Level or equivalent
Above all, we’re looking for enthusiastic and passionate people who want to work in the technology marketplace, experience from within the industry is not essential. If you have a background in networking and or IT (either from work or education) we’ll provide the necessary training to get you up to speed with our technologies and systems.
