Retail Operations Manager (Directors Designate)

Company

The company is a rapidly growing retail business within the Homewares and Lighting sector. They currently have stores located across the UK and are a National Multiple based in the North West. The company is going through rapid expansions and they require a Retail Operations Manager (Directors Designate) to be at the forefront of the expansion and grow the business to the next level, whilst developing and maintaining the existing 8 stores.

Role and responsibilities

• To review business performance and ensure the delivery of key financial and operational targets.
• To support the Managing Director in building, leading and managing an effective retail team.
• Support the Managing Director to drive spend per transaction values through maximizing the sales opportunities that occur within the planning and operation stages of the functions and retail events.
• Participate in recruitment to ensure we have the right people at the forefront of the brand.

Candidate

• Extensive Retail Operational knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of managing a team of retail store managers and the ability to lead
• High level of IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Experience of increasing incremental sales through leadership
