SALES OFFICE MANAGER – FREIGHT & SHIPPING INDUSTRY - OLDHAM – £18,000 BASIC + £25,000 OTE

Sales Office Manager within the Freight and Shipping industry sought by our client who is a global business partner of DHL.  You will be working for a well-established company with over 25 years’ global experience and is currently operating in 13 countries.

Due to their continued success they are now recruiting for a Sales Office Manager to work from the Oldham head office.

THE ROLE

• As a Sales Office Manager you will be responsible for the management of the office, internal sales and management of the admin team
• You will be selling various services including, Air Freight, Road Freight / Consignment, Domestic Express, International Import / Export Consignments  Ocean/Sea freight, Pallet Delivery, Same Day Delivery and more
• Responsible for the day to day running of the team
• Managing the internal Sales team
• Being hands on and personally doing sales
• You will be working closely with the Field Sales Team
• You will be based from the Oldham, Greater Manchester office

THE PERSON

• The successful candidate will ideally have experience of the shipping and freight industry e.g. TNT, DHL is desired but not essential
• You must have experience of managing an office and a team
• You must be able to demonstrate a desire to succeed, be organised and self-motivated
• MUST be an excellent multi tasker
• You must also have a good knowledge of IT
• You MUST live within a commutable distance to the Oldham office

THE PACKAGE

• £18,000 Basic Salary
• £25,000 OTE
• 20 days holiday
