Our client, an established market leader in their sector are seeking a Customer Service Administrator to work in their sales division within their well-equipped offices in Derby. You will be using your excellent customer service skills to effectively liaise with customers, team members and other departments. You will be following up with customers after they have received quotations they have requested to answer any queries and progress. You will draw upon your administration experience to use the quotation system, process orders as well as undertaking general administrative tasks. You will need an eye for detail and be able to work proactively. You will be working on your own initiative as well as in a team and with other departments within the organisation so being able to work to deadlines and under pressure is a must.
This role is a brilliant opportunity for you to take on more responsibility and develop your longer term career prospects. There is initial training and support as well as ongoing development. This role can be full or part time and also includes a flexible (hour) for the start and finish of the day.

Role
Progress chasing customers by telephone to follow up on requested quotations (approximately 40% of time on the telephone)
Updating the quotation system
Answering the telephone to customer enquiries and routing the call to the estimating and / or technical department if call is too technical.
Produce quotations for commodity type products.
Prepare and issue copy quotations for bespoke products as originally quoted by the Technical Department.
Process orders (raise and file paperwork and enter details onto computer system)
Assist accounts manager and logistics manager
Raise orders to suppliers and progress
General administration i.e., filing, email, post etc.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to cope well under pressure.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of key Microsoft packages
Good communication skills, both written & oral including telephone
Ability to work pro-actively on own and also work well as part of a team
Have a flexible attitude and be willing to pitch in where necessary
