FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Engineer for our client in London. This is a permanent vacancy with Salary is £47,000 plus benefits and company car. You will be coordinating all technical aspects, procure materials and coordinate all sub contractors to ensure quality and costs are met in line with specifications. Our client operates Globally.
There will be travel involved with this role. You will be a qualified structural or civil engineer able to advise on engineering solutions for tenders and projects. Have knowledge of concrete, steel structures.
Role and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Senior Engineer will include the following -
- To liaise with employers and organisations representatives
- Monitor work daily in line with programmes and expectations for delivery
- Monitor progress of temporary works
- Planning, forecasting and meeting deadlines for tenders and projects
The ideal candidate for the Senior Engineer role will have
- Competence in all operational functions in meeting targets
- Line management and supervisory responsibility
- Design experience in checking temporary works and providing solutions
- Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of UK & EU design codes and industry legislation
