UX Designer / Developer

A great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, digital publishing startup in Cambridge as a UX/web designer. You will join a team of editors, designers and developers to further the continuing advance of 'nimbl' - a mobile-first publishing platform for education and training.

Using your skills with graphics creation and UI design you will work with our clients development team to further the development of nimbl's web application for eLearning and also its learning management system. You will also help redevelop and maintain the company website.

As well as web design, you may well also use your UI/UX experience to design and implement features for our client's mobile apps for iOS Android and web.

Activities may include:
Rethinking and redesigning nimbl's web application for elearning
Coming up with new designs for user dashboards and graphical representation of data
Improvements to app UI and design of new features
Designing logos, app icons and interface elements for clients on multiple platforms
Designing new ways to present learning content within nimbl
Redesigning our company website

Skills

Clean, modern and professional style
Professional experience as a web UI/UX designer
HTML/CSS proficiency
A flair for visually representing data
Appreciation of responsive design
Skills with Adobe creative suite
A high level of education
