Factory Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineers ( with electrical bias preferred )

The roles we are looking to fill are primarily concerned with responding to individual electrical and mechanical faults on our production lines as well as being pro-active in identifying and carrying out planned maintenance and development initiatives as part of a small team of engineers.

The successful candidates are likely to live within half an hour of the factory, are likely to have their own transport ( to respond to emergency call-outs ) and have a flexible approach to working hours. You may well be currently working in a factory environment and seeking new challenges.

You are likely to have a HND or equivalent, 17^th edition preferred ( but not essential ), knowledge of PLC controls and programs, be computer literate, a good team player and have excellent communication skills.

It will be helpful if you are currently working in the food industry and looking for a fresh opportunity to improve your career and personal rewards in a modern forward thinking environment..

Experience of Form-Fill-Seal Bag-makers, Multi-head Weighers, Metal Detectors, Carton Erectors, Robotic Palletisers, Nitrogen Tunnels would be advantageous but not essential.

The salary will be within the range £25k to £35k, dependent on experience and qualifications. We are equally happy to employ enthusiastic individuals with lesser skills who can be trained and developed into higher paid employees or alternatively we are comfortable with engaging the “finished article”.
