Opportunities have arisen for Care Assistants to join a multiple award-winning community based care and support provider that provides exceptional standards of quality care and support for vulnerable children and adults across England and Wales. Based in the Nottingham area, including Bulwell, Bestwood, Top Valley, Aspley, Beeston and Arnold, the successful Care Assistants will join the company’s welcoming and friendly team to earn a salary of £13,936.0 to £14,352.00+ depending on experience. Please note that part-time positions as well as positions for evening and weekend only work are also available.
The company’s staff work as part of a team, meeting the personal care and practical needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual promoting person centred care plans whilst maintaining their independence. As a Care Assistant you will be mainly responsible for providing care to people within their own homes. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

As a Care Assistant you will be mainly responsible for providing care to people within their own homes. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assisting service users’ with personal care including getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet where necessary
- Medication administration
- Assisting service users with mobility
- Companionship
- Social calls
- Domestic duties including making and changing beds, tidying rooms and doing light cleaning
- Making yourself available on a regular basis at an agreed, appointed time to assess and review your personal and professional progress
- Maintaining accurate service user records
- Flexible, reliable and punctual
- Caring nature
- Strong organisational skills
- Sensitivity towards the needs of vulnerable people
- Active and cooperative team player
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Full training and support including Diploma qualifications will be provided
- Full driving license, car and mobile phone are essential
