Job Title: Community Care Worker / Care Assistant
Location: Orpington, Kent
Salary: £8.20-£9.20 per hour
Hours of work: 25 hours plus per week, with all shifts available

Petts Wood Homecare is owned and managed by experienced people who have provided care in the community for the past 25 years whilst still continuing to develop our knowledge and skills in every aspect of care to support the service users and their families through difficult times.

Petts Wood Homecare is recruiting for carers to join our friendly growing team. We are a small independent company, providing a high standard of care to our clients in their own homes.

Our aim is to keep them as independent as possible while allowing them choice and maintaining their dignity at all times.

You will need to show a caring and supportive nature, being able to communicate effectively and to be respectful and helpful.

It is important that you reside in the Borough of Bromley, and have access to a car due to client locations.

Being a Community Care Worker can be very rewarding, and you really can make a difference in someone’s life. As a Care Worker your job duties will include:
• Personal care i.e. assisting to wash & dress
• Meal preparation
• Domestic support i.e. general housework, shopping
• Medication support – prompting and administering
