Integrated Offender Management (IOM) Link Worker
Norwich
Pro rata of £21,479 - £23,249 pa
37 Hours per week (or part-time job share)
Are you a dynamic and motivated person looking for a rewarding role?
Do you have a passion for working with people to change their lives?
Do you have experience in working with people who misuse drugs?
Our client is a value driven charity working across Norfolk and Suffolk giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. They have a vision to reach every part of the community in the most creative, effective and efficient ways. Through their varied services, young people and adults receive professional advice, information, counselling, support, care and education.
They need someone to work with clients who have been referred from the Integrated Offender Management (IOM) 180o scheme. You will support and enable Prolific and other Priority Offenders (PPO) clients to engage with the 180o scheme, assist with broader identified needs using motivational and brief therapy techniques, and support them into treatment.
Ideally you will have experience of working with offenders who are in custody as well as those in the community.
The office base for this post is Norwich but will cover the whole of Norfolk. The work will be carried out within the service location and in the community; the ability to travel is essential.
The role is being offered as a full-time role but a job share will be considered. Applicants wishing to apply as a part-time job share are advised to indicate this in their application, stating the number of hours per week desired. This post will involve flexible working and some unsocial hours.
You will join a charity that has a Christian ethos that puts faith into action for all who they can help. You will share our client’s focus on their mission, values, clients and colleagues with a strong team spirit, but not necessarily from a Christian perspective. They offer a rewarding, challenging role with their commitment to well-being and development.
