Location: Winsford Salvation Army Corps
Salary: £2,995.20 (£7.20 ph)
Working Hours: 8 per week – Friday 8.00 am – 3.00 pm + one hour
Fixed Term to the end of September 2016

Job Summary:
To prepare and serve meals

Key Responsibilities:

• To prepare nutritionally varied menus
• To shop for ingredients
• To ensure that the kitchen is clean and hygienic to recognised standards and regulations
• To work within the budget parameters set
• To work with volunteers as available

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience of providing fresh, nutritionally balanced meals outside of a domestic setting.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations as applied to a kitchen environment
• Literacy and numeracy skills
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Sympathy with the Christian ethos of The Salvation Army
