Halliwell Homes is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our small independent school in Greater Manchester.

Salary: Competitive depending on experience 
Location: You must be available to commute between all our schools located in Haslingden.

Halliwell Homes is a leading independent, Social Enterprise that works with ‘looked-after children’ who are in need of specialist care services in the North West England. We provide clinically informed practice, a place where children can recover from experiences of abuse, neglect and trauma.

You will be reporting to a Lead Teacher  and work closely with other support teaching staff, residential therapeutic parents and social workers to create the best possible educational outcomes for pupils.

Essential knowledge and experience:

• Candidates must have a GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English plus at least 3 other subjects
• Knowledge of Independent School Standards
• Understanding of therapeutic approaches to the care of children
