Payroll Supervisor with team leading skills required to join a busy Department within a market leading Company based in Shirebrook, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands.
SALARY: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an experienced Payroll Supervisor that has the ability to manage a small, professional and friendly team.
Working as the Payroll Supervisor you will have a ‘hands on’ approach with the ability to manage the payroll process from start to finish.
Your responsibilities as the Payroll Supervisor will also include team supervision, providing generalist payroll advice, HMRC administration, reconciling year-end and assisting with the administration of the Company’s benefit schemes.

DUTIES
As the Payroll Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Supervision of a small, professional and friendly team
- Hands on payroll - start to finish, including statutory payments, new starters and leavers
- Producing standard and ad-hoc reports
- Handling payroll queries
- Manual calculations
- Assisting with the administration of the company benefits schemes
- Assisting with the payroll reconciliation's which will include using the companies accounting system
- End of year payroll administration
- HMRC administration and payments adhering to HMRC deadlines
- Providing monthly management information in the absence of the Payroll Manager
- Reconciling month-end, year to date submission
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have:
- Must have up to date and relevant Payroll experience (ideally CIPP)
- Sound knowledge and experience of providing generalist payroll advice at all levels
- Comprehensive knowledge of PAYE, NI and all statutory elements such as SMP, SSP etc.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills including strong verbal and written English
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks along with strong attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, including experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
