Apprenticeship Marketing Executive

This leading training provider is recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join their busy team in the East Midlands.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager this role will be focussed on the marketing of apprenticeships and training to businesses throughout England and advising on funding that is available for this. As the majority of their product is government funded there is limited investment required from the employer.

Based in the heart of the East Midlands, they are a dynamic family business with a major focus on quality of delivery.

- Typical activities for marketing executives generally include:
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Have knowledge and full understanding of current SFA funding rules
- Have knowledge and full understanding of the qualifications offered by the organisation
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing a contract
- Gathering market and customer information
- Representing their company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to agree to a training programme
- Advising on forthcoming funding or qualification developments and discussing special promotions
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
- Liaising with employers to check the progress and quality of existing training delivery
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
- Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues

This role will include a salary of £15,000 to £18000 + Bonus, 28 days holiday plus 9 statuary, pension scheme.
