Weekend Carer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Weekend Carer to work within the community in the client's homes and in our St. Elphin's Park luxury retirement village in Matlock, Derbyshire. 

You will see a number of clients throughout the day and you will generally assist them one-to-one with:

• Personal Care – washing, dressing, toileting and medication.
• Domestic Support – cooking, laundry, vacuuming, polishing and any tasks they may need doing around the home to help support independent living.
• Emotional Care – offering emotional support and companionship.
• Social Outings Support – taking them to and from doctors/hospital appointments as well as any activities they have planned.

Previous experience and qualifications within care are preferable but by no means are they essential. As long as you are polite, able to communicate well and have the desire to learn we are eager to hear from you. A clean UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
