Art Teacher

A fabulous nursery site in the Hammersmith and Fulham area ,is looking for an amazing Art Teacher to teach under 5`s `, lots of Art knowledge in practical styles and Art history knowledge too, and you can deliver Art through the EYFS!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To lead on Art in the Nursery.

This is a full time role in a Daycare Setting

• To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
• To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
• To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
• To keep abreast of current Art trends and delivery.
• To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3
• Art Qualifications/ Teaching Qualifications/ Art Degree desirable
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of OFSTED standards
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge and understand of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.
• Previous teaching experience or an Arty background desirable.
