Level 3 Childcare Apprentice - First Steps Private Nursery

First Steps Nursery in Fulwood has a great opportunity for a Level 3 Apprentice to join their team to work in their baby room. If you are looking to progress from Level 2 and have experience working within a childcare setting, then this could be the right job for you!

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work as part of a professional childcare team, be able to motivate children and form trusting relationships with the children and their families. You will work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure that the philosophy and the objectives of the Nursery are met consistently on a daily basis.

The Apprenticeship training for this vacancy will be provided by Runshaw College. As this is a funded Apprenticeship programme it is not open to candidates who have already achieved a qualification at Level 4 or above.

Skills Required

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team and use their own initiative. You must have previous experience of working within a Childcare setting.

Qualifications

Candidates must have achieved a Level 2 in Childcare and have at least 4 GCSE grades A-C including Maths and English Language.

You will also be required to provide references and complete a DBS check.

Personal Qualities

The ideal candidate must be reliable and enthusiastic and have a genuine passion for working with children.
