Sales Executive (Digital)

Exciting sales opportunity awaits working for a global name within Business & Economic News.

The Role

To play a key role within this client’s Business Education team.

You will manage & develop existing and new products as well as managing a number of clients and agencies, growing existing business through account management + generating new business. 

You will be responsible for selling a suite of products and will need to plan and create annual marketing proposals + oversee the successful delivery of such campaigns. In addition, you will provide a high degree of customer service to clients and will work on your own initiative to gather feedback and intelligence to enhance the portfolio of products offered.  

Main Duties + Responsibilities

  • Meet + exceed sales targets.
  • Exceed call and external meeting KPI's
  • Manage an existing client and agency database for both print and online.
  • Generate new business through both existing and new client base.
  • Pitch entire digital and print portfolio to clients.
  • Develop an excellent understanding of the business education industry and workings.
  • Be able to discuss, present and recommend the various products and make the appropriate recommendations to clients based on their requirements.
  • Design and implement multi-platform solutions to reflect the needs of business schools. 
  • Support manager with key projects such as improving and enhancing the existing print and online portfolio through forging strong relationships with other teams/departments.
  • Use Salesforce regularly to place bookings as well as log and update BUD, meetings and notes on all clients.
  • Provide support and insight to designated international offices and reps.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with the international offices and reps to identify new business and grow existing accounts. 

The Person

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
  • Excellent understanding of the digital media landscape and its terminology.
  • Good business and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and interpersonal), including an ability to communicate well and persuasively with a range of external and internal contacts, using a variety of media.
  • Confident in producing and delivering presentations to a range of audience sizes and job levels. 
  • Creative problem solving skills and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to manage tasks from start to finish.
  • Ability to interpret and re-present information.
  • An understanding of marketing practices.
  • Team player.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure, either as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Ability to organise tasks and cope with conflicting priorities.
  • Computer literate: word processing, database + CRM skills.
  • Good admin skills.

In return for your sales skills you will receive a base salary of £30,000 with huge BONUS potential + benefits package.
