Park Chinois represents the culmination of Alan Yau’s ultimate Chinese fine dining and entertainment restaurant. The 1920s Shanghai inspired ambience will open its doors to an eclectic selection of music and vocal performances in an atmosphere of sophisticated, charming elegance, combined with exceptional food quality underpinned by classic French fine dining service culture.
Role
The Bar Apprentice is an integral part of the bar service production. The Bar Apprentices have a supporting role to play in the delivery of an intuitive, refined world class bar experience to each guest in Park Chinois. The role is responsible for a seamless bar service, working closely with and assisting the Bartenders to create eclectic combinations for each guest. Passionate for the craft, they assist the bar team with quality ingredients and garnishes, carving ice, polishing and cleaning glassware, immaculate bar station set up and cleanliness, as well as working with rare and premium products and spirits in the curation of seasonally inspired mixtures. At all times the Bar Apprentices will deliver within Park Chinois guidelines and ethos.
Prerequisites
The Bar Apprentices will be expected to have passion, knowledge and skills working with spirits and cocktail ingredients, to allow them to support the Bar team and meet expectations. The Bar Apprentice will be focused and attuned to service dynamics, with unsurpassed attention to detail and eager to progress within Park Chinois. They are professional, efficient and effective, with ability to work well in a team to create a memorable sensorial bar experience.
