Full Stack Web Developer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Full Stack Web Developer to join Catena Media based in London.

Catena Media is an online lead generation company. We generate valuable traffic to our clients using various online channels. We aim to build market leading web portals that best suit the needs of our client’s customers. We use our expertise to attract the desired leads and forward them on to our clients in the form of paying customers.

As a Full Stack Web Developer for Catena Media you would working on in-house developed systems using your knowledge of object oriented development.

As a Full Stack Web Developer your duties will include:

• Development and maintenance of web solutions, intuitive web based systems, as part of an agile software development team
• Full stack (Backend & Frontend) web development
• Maintain the technical documentation
• Implement, enhance and maintain front end designs and components of our platform
• Work in all phases of software development to ensure the proper usage of best practices, patterns and development methodologies
• Ensure web development follows responsive paradigm
• Work closely with all members of the Agile team, to deliver high-quality code, that is tested and delivered across the full software development life cycle
• Develop and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Communicate requirements and dependencies of the components within the system with other team members
• Write technical, as well as non-technical, specifications and record all procedures
• Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications
• Have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work on your own initiative
• Ensure all code is tested and reviewed to the highest standards

An ideal Full Stack Web Developer will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Strong Object Oriented design experience in PHP MVC framework ( preferably Phalcon PHP )
• In depth knowledge of MYSQL database
• Full stack experience
• Very good understanding of OOP
• Agile practices
• Progressive Enhancement / Responsive Design Techniques
• Knowledge of best-practices for web performance, accessibility and usability
• Working knowledge of Git a plus
• Experience with Servers Administration a plus
