SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant on behalf one of our SEBD schools in Croydon. They are looking for someone to join their school on a long term supply basis to start as soon as possible.

One of our Croydon schools is an outstanding SEBD school that caters for pupils from KS2 (Yr 3) up to KS4 (Yr 11), who have been excluded from mainstream education on a permanent or temporary basis. The school are looking for a teaching assistant to join their secondary team to support pupils in class and on a 1:1 basis who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, so experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour is required.

We understand that every student and every school is different and as a result we carefully match our staff with the right job.

The job?

- Is comfortable working with secondary aged pupils with SEBD

- Has availability 5 days per week

- Will develop professional relationships with students and staff

- Will have strong behaviour management
