Permanent Salary: to £100k package - depending on experience

The Role

The Technical Lead - Microsoft Dynamics NAV will support the development of strategy and business plans within the development team, acting as the Subject Matter Expert in Dynamics NAV and associated technologies. You will deputise for the Business Manager as required, interacting with the Senior Management Team and providing technical input into the direction of the business.

The role requires technical expertise and leadership skills to assimilate clients' needs, propose solutions, communicate clearly and assume responsibility for technology, standards, processes and quality assurance. Main accountabilities include:

• Managing the implementation of project activities
• Defining, implementing and monitoring quality measures and controls
• Guiding new / existing clients toward their optimum business solutions
• Focusing on technological innovation, new software and Best Practice methods
• Providing technical business consultancy to meet / exceed customer goals
• Designing and managing skills / training of the technical team
• Developing / maintaining a professional relationship with relevant support networks

Launched in the mid-1990s, the business has developed around the utility industry's needs and offers bespoke IT and billing solutions to a range of organisations.

The Person

You will be an experienced IT Microsoft Dynamics NAV professional with strong leadership and communication skills. A relevant qualification is desired with experience in coding / programming / software design / development etc. and the ability to adapt to new technologies and communicate at all levels with internal / external stakeholders. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM would also be beneficial.
