Job Title: Design & Marketing Manager

Location: Leeds, LS28

Salary: £20,000 basic, with appraisal reviews every six months + Annual Christmas Bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08.45 - 17.45

This exciting job role offers a diverse and creative opportunity to develop your design and marketing talents within a specialist agency who are industry leaders in promotional product sampling, targeted leaflet distribution, product demonstrations and experiential marketing.

Job Role:

Design:

  • Devising and creating graphic print designs for the wide range of brands the business represents.
  • Producing 3D visualisations and mock ups of innovative experiential event areas for brands.
  • Devising and designing digital and printed marketing collateral for company marketing campaigns.
  • Website design, copywriting, page updates, article creation, case study updates and feature expansion.
  • Reviewing website performance, SEO, tracking analytics, Adwords and enhancing user experience.
  • Social media network strategy creation, implementation, maintenance and expansion.

Marketing:

  • Develop, plan and implement a seasonal marketing calendar for your area of industry specialism.
  • Generate interest from new customers from creatively designed postal and digital direct mail shots.
  • Pro-actively provide new ideas, insight and articles of value to prospects and customers.
  • Expand, refine and cleanse the customer database for prospecting.
  • Provide sales support to convert opportunities using and updating CRM software.

Social Media:

  • Create intelligently written articles, regularly posted on relevant websites and industry forums.
  • Comment on industry events and make valuable contributions on external posts.
  • Develop a strong social media presence and a following on relevant subjects.
  • Post case studies of company work and live campaign updates on line.

Public Relations:

  • Review industry trade press and online articles to research new customers to be approached.
  • Generate publicity from press releases and contacting trade journalists for new business win stories.
  • Research editorial features in advance and submit intelligent content on relevant industry articles.

Key Requirements:

You will need to effectively demonstrate:

  • Design skills: show your versatility for print designs, webpage creation and 3D visualisations.
  • A friendly, confident and lively persona: able to communicate personality and establish rapport quickly.
  • A creative, intelligent mind: an ability to think strategically and deliver results in accordance with agreed plans.
  • Professional communications: refined verbal and written skills, active listening and enthusiastic delivery.
  • Industry insight: learn about the world of experiential marketing, promotions and field marketing.
