Part Time – 6 hours per week

Our Construction Centre requires a Temporary Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery  to develop and deliver Introduction to Carpentry and Joinery programmes and to support the delivery of apprenticeship programmes. The successful candidate must have an SVQ 3 in Carpentry and Joinery  and  PDA Advanced Craft Relevant current practical experience is also essential.

A teaching qualification with some teaching experience is desirable.

With a proven track record and experience, you will deliver and assess programmes  of learning  from SCQF Level 4 including   SVQ apprentice training programmes. You will be responsible for developing and delivering programmes to encourage, enthuse, excite and develop learners to a high level using a wide range of delivery methods.

The successful candidate must be able to engage with learners of different levels and abilities and be committed to a culture of continuous improvement.  Delivering to a high standard of quality within given time frames.
