Project Manager

One of the areas most innovative and free thinking agencies are seeking a Project Manager to be at the forefront of allocated client relationships providing efficient end-to-end project management for the agencies services.

Your key accountability will be to ensure all projects and initiatives (whether you are directly involved or not) are delivered on time and to client satisfaction. Always striving to delight, you will be accountable for the value clients feel from the agencies services by being their day-to-day contact, keeping them informed at all times during the lifecycle of the project and responding promptly, clearly and politely to all enquiries.

Responsibilities:
* Fully understanding the client brief, interrogating request and suggesting alternatives where necessary to help client achieve aims or cost savings with support from team leaders, client partners and productions specialists
* Being in full control of your projects both internally and with external suppliers including negotiation of schedules and costs
* Rigorously observing procedures in line with ISO processes and following the Quality Management System
* Ensuring that all documentation for each project is fully up to date at all times and supplied to relevant internal teams and suppliers and have written client approval where required
* Ensuring the correct VAT is applied to all projects
* Ensuring projects are priced profitably, keeping to set margins where agreed, keeping quotations up to date and producing print production sales invoices within 48 hours of job completion and for postage invoices on the day the mailing is collected
* Identifying opportunities for strategic purchasing initiatives, cost reduction initiatives or opportunities to sell other products or services to clients
* Ensuring that knowledge and skills are kept up to date
* Effective collaboration between colleagues including Production Specialists, Central Purchasing, Operations and Labs
* Achieving predicted budget for client accounts and accurate monthly forecasting

My client has a specialisation in direct marketing and so the ideal candidate must demonstrate a sound understanding of print production and the intricacies of working in a DM environment. You need to be able to own projects and problems, driving them through from conception to completion. In order to do so efficiently, you will be a planner and a strategist, able to prioritise your workload and work accurately at speed.
