Creative Artworker / Designer

A Creative Artworker / Designer in London is sought to join one of the UK's leading multi-channel direct marketing companies, established for over 20 years. They're looking to expand their design department, who work with leading household names such as The Telegraph and Radio Times.

The organisation is a market leader in developing co-branded catalogues with the UK's largest media owners and National Newspapers. They also manage co-branded websites for these media partners and work seamlessly with their marketing and creative teams to ensure the highest standards and brand integrity and continuity.

They are now seeking an additional Creative Artworker / Designer to design the layout and make-up of catalogue pages, reader offer spreads and digital assets.

TITLE: Creative Artworker / Designer
LOCATION: Camden, London
SALARY: £21,000 per annum

The Creative Artworker / Designer role will include the following responsibilities:
- Creating all products to a high standard, including catalogues, reader offers, instructions and packaging
- Creating web images, banners and buttons
- Monitoring and creating awareness of competitors' activities
- Ad hoc photography
- Communicating design and branding to other departments within the company

The ideal Creative Artworker / Designer will possess the following skills and experience:
- Excellent knowledge of CS5 (Creative Suite 5) including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator programmes
- Good typography and copy fitting skills
- Excellent English and grammar.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A highly motivated, hands-on work ethos
- The ability to work to deadlines as part of a team
- Any mail order experience would be advantageous, as would photography experience
