Their company’s modern UK manufacturing facility is based at Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham and manufactures the new generation robotic lawnmower, namely the Automower.

They currently have an opportunity available for a Materials Scheduler to join them, reporting to the Materials Manager.

As a Materials Scheduler you will work to Department KPIs, providing supplier management information and inventory analysis and effectively managing day to day stock queries whilst troubleshooting and finding solutions within a lean manufacturing facility. Ensuring on time and accurate deliveries and the coordination of off-site sub-contractor working requirements, you must manage and maintain supplier scheduling issues utilising the MRP and delivery control system whilst managing stock control issues raised by design change and design obsolescence.

Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English and with demonstrable Material planning experience, you will possess excellent communication skills in order to develop and maintain supplier relationships and be proficient in the use of MRP systems, Microsoft packages and Outlook. Candidates for this role must be able to expedite orders and achieve results, with experience of working in a fast paced environment the successful Materials Scheduler will work effectively alone and be able to build working relationships.
