Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work at our client’s busy site in Coventry.

The main duties of the role include:

• Assisting in the building of high quality car seats – fixing various components and fitting leather over the seat frames
• Working within a team
• Working to strict guidelines -  it is imperative that applicants can follow processes
• Being part of a ‘kitting team’ – this will involve picking parts which are required to build the car seats
• Adhering to housekeeping rules and keeping work areas clean and tidy

This is a temporary ongoing position, however permanent opportunities are available should the candidate demonstrate the right attributes.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a busy manufacturing/warehouse environment, particularly in the automotive industry, however this is not essential as training will be provided.

Applicants will also need to be flexible with their working hours, as the successful applicants will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.   

The hours available are:

• Rotational day and night shifts, Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 3.30pm, paid at £7 per hour and 8.45pm- 6.30am, paid at £8.75 per hour.
• Rotational day shift, Monday to Friday 6.00am – 2.30pm and 3pm – 11.30pm, paid at £7.70 per hour
