This is an exciting opportunity to join a UK based IT Security Company. Their services include Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics and IT Security Training. They operate from a secure location in Worcestershire, where you would be based. From this central location they deliver their services worldwide. They also have an office in Ireland.
The role of IT Support is to maintain the companies computer systems and network ensuring that they run smoothly, and provide technical support and advice to computer users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
- Talking to computer users to determine the nature of problems
- Responding to breakdowns
- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
- Repairing equipment and replacing parts
- Agreeing timescales
- Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings
- Checking computer equipment for electrical safety
- Maintaining records of software licenses
- Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
- Undertake further activity to stay ahead of new developments
- Responsible for adhering to existing ISO27001 / 9001 policies and procedures, including but not limited to, the reporting of any potential information security related incidents.
