Year 2 Teacher permanent vacancy - near Plymstock.

The Job:

Randstad Education are recruiting for a permanent Key Stage 1, Year 2 teacher in the Plymstock area of Plymouth. This post will be to start from Easter, and will be a direct contract with the School. This year 2 class makes up a big part of this large schools Key Stage 1 group, with over 35 children in the class. This class is high achieving but also has some gifted and talented pupils. There are 3 TA?s assigned to the classroom as extra support and a big focus for the Spring term is outdoor learning. Excellent opportunity for a hard working and committed teacher, who wants to work in a bustling, good Plymouth Primary.

The Child:

The schools we cover here have wide catchment areas, encompassing pupils from a variety of backgrounds and with varying levels of difficulties and ability. The successful candidate(s) will have a thorough understanding of differentiation within the classroom, and also an emphasis on behaviour management and inclusive learning. They will also have a strong passion and enthusiasm for education and have a real drive to motivate pupils through their learning. Some classes within some schools may have pupils with some moderate learning difficulties or additional/specialist needs ? usually on this basis, an extra Learning Support Assistant (LSA) would be provided to give support within that particular classroom.
