Human Resources Manager

In this newly created senior role the successful candidate will provide comprehensive professional and high quality strategic HR advice to our Service. In addition, the successful candidate will support the Senior HR Business Partner, Directors and Senior Managers in developing the HR elements of the operational plan and strategic objectives, as set out in the recent Welsh Government approved Integrated Medium Term Plan (IMTP).
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a strong operational HR background and working knowledge of employment legislation. As an experienced HR professional, you will develop robust relationships within our directorates, and comfortable influencing, challenging and supporting the business as we move forward.
As an employee of Public Health Wales, you will be part of a unique NHS organisation employing 1,500 people who deliver public health services in Wales through working closely with services which include the wider NHS, housing, local authorities, police and Welsh Government.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
