Finance Data Architect
We are currently looking to recruit for a leading Financial Services business in the North West. This is part of a group wide systems implementation where you will be the leading finance SME to assist in the following areas;
Finance Data Architect Duties and responsibilities;
* Define the principles and guidelines for the design and management of Finance data entities and attributes across the Finance & actuarial Systems landscape
* Own the Master data reference models and facilitate agreement and alignment with owners across Finance and Actuarial.
* Define the principles and overall design of the Finance Data Model and Data Standard which reflects Finance's complete data requirements for processing, reporting and control
* Define the High level processes for Master Data Management, Change Control, Data Operations and oversee the design and implementation of these business processes.
* Define the methodology and roadmap for strategic and tactical changes to the finance data architecture landscape
* Act as Finance Architect SME in the plan, design & delivery phases of projects
Finance Data Architect Key skills and experience
* Qualified Accountant - Acca, aca, acma, cima…
* Experience of several implementations of large scale finance Systems in Financial services
* Systems knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, etc. (Preferred), SAP or similar
* Knowledge and experience with the definition and design of logical data models and data structures
* Knowledge of the different types of data models (conceptual through physical) and their usages and business value
* Good knowledge of the data requirements and design challenges associated with delivering data for statutory, management and regulatory reporting
* Demonstrated experience of hands on architecture role.
