Graduate Trainee Stockbroker/Trainee Sales Trader

Our client, a leading private client derivatives brokerage are seeking an exceptional, ambitious and dynamic candidate to join their busy trading floor as a Graduate Trainee Stockbroker/Trainee Sales Trader. As a Trainee Stockbroker/Trader you will be expected to provide the client with a value-added execution-only service. You will act as the client’s account manager and broker and tutor, will be on hand to assist your own clients, monitor their accounts and provide factual market news when required. Full comprehensive training is provided and fast progression is available for the right candidate You will be expected to work closely with the internal research team, and adhere closely to internal trading rules and those of the Financial Conduct Authority. Key duties will include: · Introducing new clients and developing client relationships · Executing trades on client instructions · Researching financial markets · Answering client queries · Providing exemplary customer service · Assisting the client with their day-to-day trading, but not giving advice or opinion · · Required skills: · Good verbal and written communications skills · Good interpersonal and client relationship skills · Strong business analysis skills to understand client needs · Ability to operate in a lively and fast paced environment · Previous experience in a sales role is essential · Previous experience in financial services would be considered an advantage Basic £18,00 to £22,000 and OTE (year 1 of £50,000 to £60,000)
