My client specialisies in the engineering design, development, manufacture and sale of equipment and attachments for the utilities, construction, solar and new build industries.



Due to growth within the business, my client now wants to recruit a Business Development & Project Co-ordinator on a permanent basis. The role will based at my clients headquarters based in Wiltshire, and you will liaise with other departments within the company including development, and the workshop.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To generate new business for the division by building relationships with existing customers/potential customers
  • To handle enquiries to ensure establish the exact details of what is required
  • To undertake necessary site visits to establish exact requirements and to promote our clients technical competence
  • To prepare and submit quotations with client visits where
  • To maintain a database on quotations results with identifiable reasons for successes and failures
  • To work with Sales to ensure orders are processed accurately
  • To liaise with Production to ensure that lead times are realistic and that orders are completed within them
  • To assign installation jobs to either internal or external accredited installers taking into account the cost of doing so plus the client's lead time requirements
  • To complete any specific requests for information or tenders required by the customer

Skills / Experience Required



  • Previous experience in a similar role with a proven history in delivering results
  • Experience of budgeting and costing
  • Ability to read and understand 2D/3D drawings
  • An eye for commercial detail
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • A problem solver with an enquiring mind who enjoys a challenge
