Salary: Depending on experience

The key responsibility of the Junior Account Manager is to fast track their development within the job description of an Account Management Role. They needs to develop within the full cycle of denim and woven manufacturing to be able to achieve sales and quantity targets and become an Account Manager in their own right.

Business Development
- As a Junior AM, you are expected to assist the Account Manager and/or Head of Sales and Marketing to build on their key accounts through developing a strong relationship with the customer and quickly educating yourself on the customer's Vision within product and profitability.
- Assisting the company in meeting the gross margin target from your agreed customers in the UK.
- In time, beginning to build new opportunities as you develop within the Business Development arena, within new customer bases
- Assisting in the continuous improvement with customer management and critical path management

Quality Control:
- Ensuring that the required standards of quality are met on all orders.
- Learning the ins and outs of production to understand how quality garments can be produced and what variables can affect quality. It is essential to understand how quality garments should be produced through close relationships with factories and awareness of their processes and capabilities.

Customer Meetings:
- When required, attending customer meetings and collecting the details of their requirements to develop the business and relationship with the customer
- Providing our clients with accessibility, responsiveness and clear lines of communication.
- Ensuring the smooth of progression of styles through the sampling and bulk critical paths.

You will need to be:

- Be of graduate calibre or relevant qualification
- Experience within Sales, business development or account management within the manufacturing/suppliers industry or product industry
- Minimum of 2 years of experience into sales & Customer liaison role
- Experience in dealing with highly pressured and time intensive situations
- Flexibility - needs to be accessible to clients. Not a 9-5pm job.
- A confident trouble-shooter with decision making skills
