Our team is a diverse and eclectic mix of individual talents working together to wage war on convention and we are now looking for a Maternity Cover to support us whilst our current Senior Content Manager is off.
Working within the PR & Content team, you'll use creative flair combined with analytical detail to deliver best in class retail content for our clients and report on the results and impact it is making. The role includes management of a team of Content Managers, strategy development, ideation, production, project management and measurement of performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing & mentoring a team of Content Managers, freelancers and external agencies
- Working with our clients to understand their brand positioning including current tone, voice and language
- Working with Senior Client Managers to ensure client expectations are exceeded
- Strategy development of online content in line with business and SEO objectives
- Championing channel development and new product offerings within the content team
- Putting together briefing documents and content best practice documents
- The production, editing and publishing of content
- Working collaboratively with our PR Team to develop and produce content marketing initiatives
- Measuring the value of the content created to develop our retail client's ongoing content strategy in line with their target audiences and objectives
- Training and empowering clients and internal teams on content best practice via Search Academy hosting
- Working on new business pitches and the delivery of bespoke content presentations
Knowledge/Experience:
- You will have previous management experience and be keen to engage with & develop your team
- You will have experience planning large-scale projects and be skilled at producing reports to measure content success
- You will have digital marketing & retail industry knowledge, as well as in-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Analytics and DC Storm. Content marketing in a business context would also be preferable.
- You will be organised with strong relationship building skills, able to produce high quality work within guidelines to deadlines.
- You will have outstanding initiative, bringing a creative flair that will please customers through your passion for content and marketing.
- You will be confident in presenting to clients and perspective clients
- You will have excellent copy writing and creative skills, ensuring that content is designed to be engaging, appealing, attractive, modern and customer centric.
- You will ideally have experience working in or with PR teams to deliver strong and relevant campaign content to perspective customers
