Our client, a long established business, requires a lively, ambitious and enthusiastic Leisure Unit Manager to run one of their leisure operations in their popular Blackpool resort.

The ideal candidate would be a General Manager level in either leisure, retail or resorts. You will need to be front of house focused, be customer orientated and have exceptional communication, man-management and inter-personal skills. Excellent customer service experience is needed as is a knowledge of current trends. You will need to be confident and be able to deal with difficult situations in a pressurised environment.

You will be responsible for the recruitment, selection, and performance management of employees as well as team motivation and you must be confident to interact with customers. As well as running the Front of House operations in the Unit, you will be managing and motivating the team members. Experience of  liaising with stock buyers on products and customer requests would be an advantage.  A creative and innovative flair is needed for this role as you will need to generate ideas and promotions to enhance the customer experience.  Ensuring appropriate delivery of unit standards, service and cleanliness is paramount. Full training and induction will be given.
