Due to our ongoing expansion Matt Burton associates are looking for a Compliance Manager to be based from our Chester office.
The overall responsibility of this role is ensuring effective, efficient and accurate audit processes are in place to aid in the recruitment of temporary and permanent employees for external clients. The ability to manage and adjust workflow to optimise processes is key within this role, as well as effective management of your team.
Key accountabilities:

Ensuring all relevant checks have been undertaken at various stages in the recruitment cycle e.g. pre interview/assessment, pre start date and post start date.

Ensuring all reference, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), CV content and background checks are undertaken in accordance with internal processes / client requirements.

Ensuring any temporary worker administration has been undertaken including signed contracts, Credit Industry Fraud Avoidance Service (CIFAS) consent forms as per client requirements.

Auditing returns from references, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and background checking, including qualification & health checks and legally compliant checks.

You will manage the Compliance team which includes conducting 1-2-1 & appraisals and will have the responsibility of hiring and training new team members.

Effective management of workflow.

Experience managing and growing a Compliance Team.

Experience in recruitment audit / employment checking processes.

High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
