Due to rapid expansion an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Website Administrator to join an award-winning retail company with a thriving online business, in addition to retail stores and showrooms throughout the UK. Based in Glazebury, Cheshire the successful Website Administrators will be working 45 hours per week, earning a salary of £17,500.
As a Website Administrator you will be required to maintain and update the company websites and administer the stock management system, as well as providing assistance with front-end web development. Reporting to the Web Admin Team Leader, your main responsibilities as a Website Administrator will include, but are not limited to:
As a Website Administrator you will be required to maintain and update the company websites and administer the stock management system, as well as providing assistance with front-end web development. Reporting to the Web Admin Team Leader, your main responsibilities as a Website Administrator will include, but are not limited to:
- Adding new products onto the company websites, with information provided via product sheets
- Cropping, resizing and optimising product images to be used on the website
- Creating dimension diagrams to be used on each product
- Amending existing product information such as prices, pictures and descriptions
- Discontinuing products that are no longer available for sale
- Creating new website categories for product sales
- Implementing 301 redirects for pages no longer found
- Performing basic on page search engine optimisation through standard practice
- Working on eBay ensuring new listings are added daily to set targets
- Producing and maintaining product signs throughout our showrooms
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Keen attention to detail with a creative flair
- Excellent organisational skills and timekeeping
- A positive and enthusiastic drive towards work
- Ability to communicate successfully and work effectively with other team members
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/CMS (desirable, not essential)
- IT literate with knowledge of Office Software (Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator (desirable, not essential)
- Working knowledge of Magento would be an advantage
