Working Pipefitter Welder Foreman

ROLE

G&H Fabrication requires a Working Pipefitter Welder Foreman to provide daily management of national projects and work alongside the G&H Group's three other companies: G&H Building Services, G&H Sustainability and G&H Maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and tracking projects on a daily basis
• Project material management from ordering, stock control and forward planning
• Managing and motivating a team of fitter welders focusing on quality and production
• Overseeing and managing programme performance
• Continuous liaison and reporting to the Fabrication Manager
• Ensuring all deadlines are met to the highest standard
• Liaison with all companies in the G&H Group

CRITERIA

• In-depth knowledge of installing CHP pipework systems, HVAC plant rooms and pump houses is essential
• Excellent experience and knowledge of all types of pipefitting and welding processes
• Extensive knowledge of all related materials including stainless and carbon
• Current or previous experience as a coded Tig welder especially relating to thin wall stainless
• Flexible attitude to balance work loads and deadlines
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills
