Smart Solutions Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Production Operative to work within the Printing Sector. The client is sector leaders in the Printing industry. The Vacancy is based within Cardiff will involve working in various departments within the warehouse, contributing to the smooth running of the print production and ensuring timescales are met and work is completed efficiently and accurately within your team.
The Client is looking for Multi skilled Operatives who they are able to up skill to a high level in each production department, who are able to work on their own and within a team, this will include training on detailed production packing procedures and spreadsheets and training on various product finishing equipment.
Core responsibilities of this role include:
1.Working within a team to ensure products are finished and packed to the given timescales.
2.Following production spreadsheets and instructions to ensure products are packed, finished and loaded accurately
3.Using your innovative to manage your time wisely, and proactively move on to a new job once your current one is completed.
4.Quality Checking the products ensuring that each product leaves the warehouse at a high standard
5.Rising and issues with products to the shift manager.
6.Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, ensuring your area of work is cleaned before leaving
7.Using various machines to finish off the products
8.Assisting with the loading of the finished products
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in working in a Warehouse/Production role is desirable
Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
Reliable
Punctual
Time management
Confident
Keen eye for detail
Flexible, you may be required to work shifts; mornings, afternoons or nights
The working week is Monday - Friday, where there are three shifts in operation (AM shift, PM shift and Night shift).
The intended hours are 40 hours per week.
Start date is immediate.
